Greg earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech where he received training in economics, international policy, and city planning.  After clerking with the Atlanta law firm, Alston & Bird, he obtained a Law Degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia.

Greg married his wife, Kelly, and started as an associate attorney in Randolph County with a firm in Roanoke. He then opened his own law firm in Ashland in 2000, where he has since represented thousands of individuals, small businesses, family farms, and local governments throughout East Alabama. Greg has developed a reputation within the legal community for his integrity, work-ethic, and knowledge of the law. The firm has grown from a sole practitioner in rural, east Alabama (with only his wife as secretary), to its most recent size of  five staff members.

Greg’s clients now benefit from his twelve years of experience and knowledge garnered from thousands of prior matters and cases. Greg has represented individuals from all walks of life and all types of social, cultural and financial backgrounds.  Greg has made literally hundreds of court appearances in circuit, district, municipal and juvenile courts throughout east central Alabama.

He is admitted to practice in Alabama and the United States District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama. Greg is a member of the the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.  Recently,  he was elected by his peers to serve as Bar Commissioner on the governing body of the Alabama State Bar, the Board of Bar Commissioners.

Greg and Kelly, his wife, reside in Clay County with their three daughters. While raising three girls between the ages of nine and five keeps them busy, they both remain active members of the community by participating in community service clubs, coaching little league sports, and serving in faith-based organizations.

Greg serves east, central Alabama including Clay County (Ashland and Linville), Coosa County (Rockford and Goodwater), Talladega County (Talladega, Lincoln, and Sylacauga), Tallapoosa County (Alexander City and Dadeville), Chambers County (LaFayette, Lanett, and Valley), Randolph County (Roanoke, Wadley, Wedowee, and Woodland), Cleburne County (Heflin), Calhoun County (Anniston and Oxford), Etowah County (Gadsden and Rainbow City), St.Clair County (Pell City) and Elmore County (Wetumpka), and Lee County (Auburn and Opelika).
